Progress Reviews and your Personal Learning Plan
To help you achieve your full potential your progress is monitored. Throughout the year you will be asked to spend time reviewing your progress and level of performance with subject teachers. This will help you to set academic targets. You will be expected to use your Personal Learning Plan to record aspirational grades based on your prior attainment at :
• GCSE (ALIS grades)
• Subject Target grades
• Performance grades
• Effort grades
• Organisation and understanding grades
• Teacher comments and targets
Twice yearly (usually November and March) full performance reviews take place at College Academic Mentoring Days (AMD) with your Academic Mentor. Attendance is compulsory and your parents / guardians are encouraged to attend also. In February / March you will receive a full written academic report.
