Introduction

Welcome to the Carmel IAG website offering the Information, Advice and Guidance needed to help you make the right decisions about your future once you leave Carmel.

If you are unsure whether you want to continue in to Higher Education or explore opportunities in Work Based Learning or employment please arrange to see Mr Madeley or your Form Tutor who will be most helpful in starting you off on the decision making process.

If you have absolutely no idea what you want to do, you could arrange an interview with Julie Atkinson a Connexions Adviser who visits the College on a weekly basis (please see Mrs Riley at the student reception to make an appointment).

Changing Subjects

If you wish to change a subject you must first speak to the subject teachers concerned then your tutor, the Director of the Sixth Form and the Vice Principal in charge of the Curriculum (Mrs Jasper). A form for changing subjects must be obtained, completed and returned to Mrs Jasper. You must continue to attend lessons until such a time as the form has been completed.
