Introduction
This department exists in order to try and ensure that all pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum and that all pupils are able to develop their full potential.
There are two main ways of working to achieve this:
All members of the department work with staff to support
and develop
their skills and expertise. The aim is to help staff to become teachers
of all
pupils.
All members of the department will work with pupils experiencing learning
difficulties. Support staff will teach or develop the skills necessary
to help
those pupils access the curriculum.
