HADRIAN'S CYCLEWAY - Sponsored ride in support of Carmel RC College building fund

A group of pupils, parents, staff and governors of Carmel College are completing Hadrian's Cycleway over August Bank Holiday weekend, to raise funds towards the cost of the new building at Carmel.  It's 172 miles, starting at Ravenglass in Cumbria, going up the West Coast to Silloth on the Solway Firth, then heading east across Hadrian's Wall to Haltwhistle, before dropping down to the finish at South Shields.  They'll cover roughly 60 miles per day over Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Bank Holiday and are aiming to raise £2000.00 and need your support.  As a Voluntary-Aided school, Carmel have to raise 10% (£1 million) of the £10 million spent renovating the school to provide fabulous state-of-the-art facilities for our children.

You can register your support and pay direct via the Justgiving website: www.justgiving.com/lynnebibby
