Rachel Makes the England Squad

Carmel RC College student Rachel Bird has just been selected for the England Under 17 Netball Squad.

Rachel a year 11 student has been playing netball since year 7 and enjoys playing as part of a team. She has had to undergo a gruelling selection process at both regional and national trials in order to get this far and will now be attending an England training camp over the Easter break in Bath.

Rachel plays Goal Defence and as well as playing for Carmel is a member of the Oaksway Netball Club in Hartlepool.
