Educational Visits
In Year 10 pupils will visit Housesteads Fort to carry out the personal
investigation required by the History Around Us assignment. In Year
11 pupils will visit the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds to enhance
their study of Medicine Through Time.
Qualifications in history can lead to obvious, careers such as museum work, archaeology, conservation and history teaching along with the less obvious careers including law, architecture, civil service, banking, journalism, economics, social work, publishing, human resource management, marketing, armed forces and the police.
