Computer Networking Course

Cisco Certified Networking Associate

This is a recognised Computer Networking Course, taking students from the initial conceptions of networking and the physical infrastructure required, including binary and wave theory. The course leads on through the OSI Model introducing Ethernet Technologies and IP addressing schemes. Switch networks and routed networks are then discussed and a large component focuses on the physical implementation of these networks. Basic and advanced routing protocols are examined along with VLANs and inter CLAN routing. This course concludes by examining WAN Technologies of Frame Relay ISDN amongst others.

The focus of the course is practical and students gain a broad experience of actual network equipment.
