About

The club was formed in 2005 by two live music fanatics Garry Chapman and Simon Hannaford who set out to bring the best in live entertainment to Darlington. This new venue (The John Caden Hall) was completed in 2004 and has a capacity of 400 (300 with dance floor).

All income generated from the Club is channeled back into the PTA to benefit all students in the College.

The Carmel Rhythm Club is just one long party of RHYTHM 'N' BLUES, SOUL, SWING, JAZZ, ROCK 'N' ROLL, ROCKABILLY and JUMP JIVE. The best in live music dedicated to HONKERS, SCREAMERS, SHOUTERS, BE-BOPPERS, CROONERS and JAZZ BABES. Bookings through Simon (shannaford@carmel.org.uk)

Feedback

"Just a note to say thanks for a great night on Saturday - well worth the 120 mile round trip.I hope you've recovered, you and your team worked very hard to put on a great show.

I've been a Feelgood fan for many years but dont get the opportunity to see them very often as they dont seem play in the north very often these dayswe all thought they were on form and put on a great show.

See you in march for Nine Below Zero!"
