Our young people spend only a fraction of their time in school and research shows that the parental involvement is the most important lever in their life. At Carmel we acknowledge and value the support we receive from parents and look to encourage and develop parental involvement in all that we do.
Parents indicated to us that they would benefit from information sessions on a number of key issues facing children today and so earlier this week parents of year 9 and year 10 children were invited to participate presentations. Feedback has been positive and we would hope to invite all parents to future events. In the meantime, however please use the links to the powerpoint presentations. Unfortunately we do not have a powerpoint for the presentation given by the police on Young people & drugs. We have a number of resources in college if you would like copies.
As ever there is always an open door policy at Carmel and should you wish to discuss these or any other issue relating to your son or daughter or any of the College’s policy & procedures please do not hesitate to contact us.
Powerpoint presentations from the evening are available from the 'Downloads' section on the right hand side of this page.
