Message From Maura Regan, Principal, Carmel College:
Carmel College is one of the top performing schools in the country at both GCSE and ‘A’ level. It has a proud record of excellence in areas of sport, music and the Arts.
The College values the excellent support it receives from parents and carers. We have a team of outstanding staff who consistently encourage their students to be the best they can be and ensure that “children leave with more than just outstanding examination results”.
The College is the lead school in a Multi-Academy Trust, the Carmel Education Trust.
As a Teaching School the College engages in a number of educational initiatives with particular strengths in initial teacher Training, School to School support and Assessment and Pupil tracking, please see www.carmelteachingschool.org.uk/cttp for more details.
Our aim is to provide a community that is characterised by “joyous corridors and purposeful classrooms”, where students and staff are valued and respected as unique individuals and where all are able to grow and strive to “act justly love tenderly and walk humbly….” (Micah 6) in pursuit of the common good.
